Expired domains can be picked up by competitors, squatters, or used in phishing attacks against your brand. Checking expiry lets you renew on time and avoid a grace-period scramble. The tool also shows domain age — older domains carry more SEO authority and resale value.
Share expiry checks with /tools/expiry.php?domain=example.com — the result loads automatically.
Enter the domain — the tool queries RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol) and returns the exact expiry date, days remaining, and an urgency level so you know how urgent renewal is.
OK = more than 60 days left; Soon = 30–60 days; Warning = 14–30 days; Critical = 7–14 days; Expired = the domain has already passed its expiry date.
RDAP covers most modern gTLDs (.com, .net, .io, .ai, etc.) and a growing number of ccTLDs. Some older or restricted TLDs may not return expiry data.
After expiry, the domain enters a grace period (usually 30–45 days) where the owner can renew. After that, it enters redemption and then drops to public registration.
