1. Who We Are
NameHub is a domain name marketplace. We connect buyers with premium domain names and facilitate secure transfers via Spaceship SafePay. Our contact address is Contact@namehub.io.
2. Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the marketplace:
- Visitor analytics — IP address, browser user agent, referring URL, and pages viewed. Stored in aggregate to understand site traffic. No third-party tracking scripts.
- Inquiry submissions — your name, email address, and the message you submit when making an offer on a domain. Used solely to respond to your inquiry.
- Newsletter subscriptions — your email address and subscription date. Used only to send occasional domain listings and updates from NameHub.
- Security session (public forms) — a temporary session is started when you submit a public form (domain inquiry or newsletter signup) to validate a CSRF security token. No personal data is stored in this session and it expires when you close your browser.
- Admin session (namehub_admin) — a longer session set only when an administrator logs in to the admin panel. Expires after 4 hours of inactivity. Never set for regular site visitors.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To respond to domain purchase inquiries.
- To send newsletters you explicitly subscribed to.
- To understand which pages and domains are popular (analytics).
- To protect the site from spam and abuse (rate limiting by IP).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
- Inquiry data — kept for up to 2 years or until the related domain transaction is complete, whichever comes first.
- Newsletter subscribers — retained while your subscription is active. Immediately deactivated on unsubscribe.
- Visitor logs — retained for up to 12 months for analytics purposes, then deleted.
- Rate-limit records — purged automatically after the rate window expires (typically 1 hour).
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time — use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email us directly.
- Request access to any personal data we hold about you.
- Request deletion of your personal data. We will delete it within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain it.
- Object to processing in any way not described in this policy.

6. Cookies
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Two types of temporary session cookies may be set:
- Security cookie (public) — a short-lived session is started when you submit a public form (inquiry, newsletter subscription) to validate a CSRF token and protect against cross-site request forgery. This cookie expires when you close your browser and contains no personal data.
- Admin session cookie (namehub_admin) — set only when an administrator logs in to the admin panel. It expires after 4 hours of inactivity and is never written to public visitors who do not log in.
7. Third-Party Services
- Spaceship SafePay — domain transfer and payment escrow. When you complete a purchase, Spaceship's own privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Google Fonts — the Inter typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which may set its own cookies. See Google's privacy policy for details.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
